Using the VS2010 theme, when you float a document, the foreground (white) bleeds into the document. Therefore, any template which may be floated must explicity set its foreground and background, or it will be inherited from the LayoutDocumentFloatingWindowControl.
I don't know if there is a workaround for this - set the ControlTemplate's fg and bg to the system defaults?
